Role
An Inside sales rep plays a fundamental role in being the front-line sales contact for phone calls and email inquiries. You must be comfortable being the first point of contact for all customer sales and customer issues. A person who would be best suited for this position will be professional, friendly, and confident in themselves, have an ear for opportunity, the ability to learn and understand the technical aspects of Supply Chain Logistics. Must be confident in technology, the use of our computer system, apps, and websites. You must be a person who strives for customer service excellence.
Job Duties
Provide a warm greeting to our inbound leads through phone, email and video conference calls
Answer incoming calls in a prompt professional manner
Process email communications in a professional and timely fashion
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate or Sales Rep for further development and closure
Accurately enter touch points and transactions in our Customer Relations and Transport Management software system.
Provide quotes and follow up on those quotes
Deal with customer complaints and issues in a prompt, friendly and professional manner, bringing the issue to the appropriate decision maker to rectify the issue.

Qualifications
Minimum of two years of customer service/sales experience, preferable within the Transport Industry
Minimum of two years’ experience taking inbound calls and processing orders
Post-secondary education preferred. Work experience will be considered in lieu of postsecondary education
Proficient with computer data entry, windows, use of websites and apps
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Strong Customer Service skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
Able to multi-task
Able to build relationship and loyalty with customers
Organized and detail orientated
Strong time management skills
